Jason's first car was a 92 Protege DX. It was a true beater. He ran that poor thing beyond what it was made to go physically and internally. Eventually found a rare 4WD Protege sedan. Shortly after getting his hands on that, the motor finally blew on the DX, and then only a month after that and having brand new tires put on the 4WD, that motor blew.
In the past few years that he's been building the 4WD prize car, he's come to realize his true motorsport calling is Rally racing. Everything else is just boring now. He's comepeted in multiple events in 2007 with a 2001 chevy prizm with the 1 win in class and a 2nd place in TSD RoadRally as the top finishes. His only entry in stage rally was also a 2nd place finish in SRS FWD class in a Nissan Sentra.
Jason can still be seen participatin in autocross events with the rest of the group along with many test sessions for course set-ups. But his priority is rallycross, road rally, and stage. With the ambition of participating in Rally America having his debut in the Oregon Trail Rally. |
